JAMMU, Mar 19: Roma Wani, Honorary General Secretary Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) -J&K, called on Governor N.N. Vohra, who is the President of the IRCS -J&K, here at the Raj Bhavan today.
Ms. Wani briefed the Governor about the to-date construction status of the Red Cross House at Srinagar; training of volunteers in districts; status of new Jan Aushadi stores proposed for Samba, Rajouri, Kathua and Super Speciality Hospital, in Jammu.
The Governor stressed the high importance of training in first aid and other life saving techniques being imparted to the largest number of volunteers in the districts to meet any emergent situation.
