JAMMU, Mar 20: Three MLAs of Opposition parties today staged walkout after being denied opportunity to raise question in the Legislative Assembly.
Congress MLA from Gulabgarh, Mumtaz Khan staged walkout after his repeated requests to the Chair for raising supplementaries during the Question Hour remained unheard. Similarly, Congress MLA Amin Bhat and National Conference Member Abdul Majid staged walk-out after being denied opportunity to raise question.
Several other MLAs from Opposition particularly Asgar Ali Karblaie questioned the criteria being adopted by the Assembly Secretariat for listing of questions. Several questions of some MLAs have been listed during the past two days but others have been ignored, he said.
On this, Speaker assured that he would look into the issue.
