AKBMS submits memorandum to JMC

JAMMU, Mar 20: The Akhil Bharatiya Safai Majdor Sang (AKBMS) though its president Dev Anand Gill has submitted the memorandum to Jammu Municipal Corportation for early consideration.
The demands which were highlighted said that no swine flu protection equipments or vaccination for Safai Karmachari’s and other filed staff, who battle with sanitation issue and make sure the cleanness of city to prevent the infection have been issued.
The new amendment in already existing four zone of Jammu city is not practically workable as Safai Karamchari’s faces the numerous problems in performing their duties as per new zones.
Re –organization of Jammu Municipal Corporation, allotment of residential plots for Safai Karmachari’s, time bound promotion for Safai Karmachari at the earliest, release of pending arrears of 6th pay commission of Safai Karmachari, Payment of arrears to Safai Karmachari’s who were permanent after May 2005, number 125, 169, 148 and others.
Getting back the licensing process to health wing, JMC which were given to Drug and Food control organization will generate revenue of about Rs 2 crore annually and doctors expert in the Municipality know it better than offices of Drug and Food Control.
