Rich tributes paid to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev

JAMMU, Mar 23: Various organizations paid rich tributes to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on their death anniversary.
Minister for Health and Medical Education, ARI and Trainings Lal Singh today paid rich tributes to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on their 84th martyrdom day at a function organised by Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation at Vanayak Bazar near Jewel Chowk. MLA East Rajesh Gupta, MLA Kathua Rajeev Jasrotia, President Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation Dr Taran Singh and people from all walks of life in large number were present on the occasion. Members of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh foundation and Jewel Bazar Shopkeepers Association also paid tributes to the martyrs. A free Ayurveda medical camp was also organised at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk near Jewel chowk in collaboration with Directorate of Indian Systems of Medicine, in which 1000 patients suffering from various diseases were treated and free medicines were provided to them. Earlier, artists of Cultural Unit of Department of Information and Public Relations presented several patriotic songs.
On the eve of Shaheedi  Divas of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru, rich floral tributes were paid to these national martyrs during a function at BJP Headquarters at Pt Prem Nath Dogra Bhawan. The function was organized under the supervision of BJP State Secretary and Incharge Membership Drive Munish Sharma, which was presided over by State BJP President and MP Jugal Kishore Sharma. All the senior members of BJP, including MP, Rajya Sabha, Shamsher Singh Manhas, State General Secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul, Chander Mohan Sharma, Yudhvir Sethi, Advocate Lalit Moza, Karan Singh and Haleema Begum were present on the occasion and paid their respects to the great martyrs.
Shaheed Bhagat Singh Brigade paid rich tributes to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on their death anniversary. The function was organized under the auspices of Chairman Shaheed Bhagat Singh Brigade Anil Gupta. Chander Mohan Sharma, senior BJP leader presided over the function, whereas Ashok Kaul, general secretary organization, BJP was the chief guest. On the occasion, the portraits of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev were garlanded. Mohan Singh Chouhan, Munish Sharma, State Secretary BJP, Subhash Jandyal, district president BJP, Anju Dogra, general secretary BJP, Murari Lal Balgotra, senior BJP leader besides many others were present. On the occasion, Jammu Super Model Club Events staged a play “Shaheedi”. The play was written and directed by Tarun Sharma. The actors, who performed in the play were Ranjeet Singh, Mohit Sharma, Rishav Salgotra and Nikhil Verma.
Jammu Congress paid rich tributes to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev in a function which was held at PCC Headquarter Shaheedi Chowk. The function was organised by the DCC Jammu Urban and presided over by District President Anil Chopra, Ex MLA, while Hari Singh Vice President JKPCC and Dr Rashid Choudhary General Secretary JKPCC and spokesperson, besides DCC office bearers, block presidents, ward presidents and ex-corporate attended the function.
Jammu and Kashmir Youth Club organized a rally to pay tributes to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev and other freedom fighters at Press Club. Vikram Singh along with Jagdeep Chahal, Vishavjit Singh, Karandeep Singh, Shuvam Mahajan, Ranjot Singh, Simran Singh paid floral tributes to the martyrs and recalled their sacrifices.
To remember the martyrdom of Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru and Sukhdev, J&K Freedom Fighters Association organised a function at Dogra Shaurya Stamb, Ambphalla under the chairmanship of the Association president Ved Gandotra. Soujanya Sharma, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion. The participants paid floral tributes to the martyrs and recalled their sacrifices.
The NSS unit of KCS College of Education (Women) observed National Martyr’s Day in order to pay tribute to great freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Raj- guru and Sukhdev. The volunteers took part in debate and recited patriotic poems. The function was inaugurated by Prof OP Sharma, Principal of the College. In the end, the vote of thanks was presented by Ruchika Chib, Programme Officer, NSS Unit of the College.
National Secular Forum organized a programme on the martyrdom of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru. Amid slogans, the NSF activists paid tributes to freedom fighters by garlanding their portraits. Ankush Abrol, senior NC leader and member working committee JKCA was the chief guest, and Dr Vikas Sharma, presided over the function. Sukhdev Singh, President NSF, Surjit Choudhary, senior vice-president and Qayoom Malik, University Unit President NSF, besides other activists of the NSF were present on the occasion.
Duggar Pradesh Party organized a meeting to pay tributes to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. Uday Chand, President, in his speech threw light on the life of freedom fighters.
Aam Aadmi Party paid rich tributes to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev at Press Club Chowk. The tributes were paid under the leadership of Vipan Nischal along with many volunteers.
JKPYC general secretary Manjeet Singh Jatt along with some prominent persons paid tributes to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev.
Paloura Welfare Association under the leadership of its chairman of its president Balbir Singh Manhas paid tributes to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. Bahadur Singh Manhas, senior leader BJP, Vijay Kumar Sharma, president of the Association, RK Sharma, general secretary, Uttam Singh, Kuldeep Raj, ex-general secretary guru Ravi Das Sabha Paloura besides many others were present on the occasion. The Association also felicitated Satnam Singh for achieving Shaurya Chakra award for his meritorious services in Army.
