20 cases of unfair means framed, 6 held

JAMMU, Mar 23: Keeping check on the menace of mass-copying, the police and civil administration framed 20 cases of unfair means in the 10 class exam centers in Rajouri and Poonch today and also detained six persons in Surankote for abetting copy.
Reports said that CEO Rajouri A H Fani paid visit to Govt High School Palma and framed six cases of unfair means in exam centre of class 10th. Then he moved to Govt Higher Secondary School, Panihad and framed seven cases of unfair means.
Tehsildar Thannamandi on the directions of DC Rajouri also paid surprise visit to the exam centre at Shahdara Sharief and found mass copying. He framed five cases there. At Govt Girls Higher Secondary School, Palangarh, he framed two cases of unfair means.
SDPO Surankote Ajay Sharma, during checking at Chandimarh School exam centre noticed some people roaming around exam centre for assisting students in copying. He directed cops to apprehend them. Six were held while some others managed to escape.
