JAMMU, Mar 23: Kashmiri Hindu Conference (KHC) has accused the successive Governments that instead of bridging the gap between the communities, their actions and policies have led to Islamization of institutions in Valley.
In a statement issued here today KHC president M L Thusoo said the amity and mutual brotherhood are the stories of the past.
Mr Thusso was addressing the KHC meeting here. It criticised the main stream political parties and government who day in and day out said rehabilitation of militants and advocate for dialogue with Pakistan.
Questioning it the KHC wanted to know what sort of dialogue they were advocating for with a country which was responsible for sending armed desperados in J&K for last three decades now.
The KHC said the Union Government spends huge money over it and its double speak is totally ridiculous and absurd.
The meeting reiterated its demand of settlement of the displaced Pandits at one place in Valley at an earliest. The meeting said that delaying the return is fraught with extinction of the community. P L Koul Badgami, K L Ganju, A K Koul, A K Sadhu, M L Daftri, S N Raina, M L Koul, G L Koul and others attended the meeting.
