KATHUA, Mar 23: The people of Bani and adjoining areas held a protest demonstration today and took out a rally in the Bani township against the withdrawal of two companies of security forces from the area exposing the people to grave risk.
The protestors demanded immediate redeployment of forces in the area failing which the people are forced to migrate to safer areas.
The protestors have warned agitation in case the Government failed to redeploy the security forces in the area where from they have been withdrawn. The protestors said the action of government has exposed them to grave risk.
The protestors sought immediate intervention of Union Government and Defence Minister in the matter and said in view of two successive Fidayeen attacks in Kathua and Samba districts few days back the Government with the withdrawal of security forces was putting them the people of Bani to grave risk.
