JAMMU, Mar 23: A deputation of All J&K Retired Police Personnel Forum called on the MLA Rajouri, Advocate Kamar Hussain Chowdhary and apprised him of its demands.
The deputation explained the MLA that Government order number 229-F of 2014, dated 17-10-2014, regarding pay anomalies, was not acceptable since the effect is being given prospective. The surviving retired personnel should be given justice by giving the effect of this order at least from 1996, they demanded.
The Forum also demanded immediate implementation of the High Court order for 2nd and 3rd time bound promotions to HC Talib Hussain.
The MLA gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured to raise these issues in the Legislative Assembly.
The deputation comprised of Jaswant Singh, Mohd Maksood, Harbans Sharma, Ranjeet Singh, Gh Mohi-ud-Din, Hoshank Chand, Sat Paul and others.
