MSS demands AIIMS at Jammu

JAMMU, Mar 24: A meeting of the Mahasha Sadar Sabha, (MSS) Jammu city was held under the presidentship of Som Raj Taroch in which they demanded AIIMS at Jammu, keeping in view the needs and sentiments of the Jammu people to end discrimination with this region.
It was further demanded that the Government of India must seriously think over this burning demand of the Jammu region and sanction one more AIIMS at Jammu too. Sabha has decided that it will soon submit a memorandum to the State Government in this regard and to press for other long pending demands including observing holiday on the eve of Parkash Diwas of Guru Naba Dassji Maharaj, shifting of slaughter house situated in-front of the Guru Nabha Dassji Temple Dogra Hall, Jammu, reserving one Lok Sabha seat for SCs for the State, setting up the SC colonies in the State and setting up of the SC Commission in the State.
Others present were Koushal Karotra, Khilari Lal, Dwarka Nath, Trilok Nath, Lok Raj, Shambu Nath, Rajesh Bajgal, Jagdish Raj, Dina Nath Dogra, Shammi Naryal and Vaishno Dutt.
