DC develops mechanism for tracking fard issuance, demarcation of land

UDHAMPUR, Mar 25: Deputy Commissioner (DC), Udhampur, Yasha Mudgal convened a meeting of all revenue officers  of the district here today.
During the meeting, DC reviewed the progress made under Public Services Guarantee Act (PSGA).  In order to provide public services more satisfactorily, she stressed to develop online software for proper monitoring of the revenue services. For the purpose, she directed District Informatics Officer (NIC) to develop a reliable online software regarding Fard application and Demarcation of land application admittance till their disposal within time limit provided under PSGA.
She further added that if Fard issuance and demarcation of land is not done within 10 days and 30 days time respectively by the concerned official, this software will show red alert, which will be monitored daily in DC office and action will be initiated against the concerned official for non compliance.
DC directed all the Tehsildars for maintaining proper record/register for applications received pertaining to issuance of Fard, demarcation etc manually till the software is developed.
She emphasized upon the special monitoring process for providing good governance among the common masses. She directed all the Tehsildars to hold public awareness camps at village level for spreading the awareness regarding the marking of fard and demarcation application from concerned Tehsildar first rather than directly going to the concerned Patwari for issuance of Fard and demarcation of land so that proper record is maintained at Tehsil level.
Deputy Commissioner instructed all the revenue officers to initiate removal of identified encroachments in their respective areas and asked to submit the compliance report of the same to her office by March 31. She stressed upon the revenue officers to put in their coordinated efforts and keeping close liaison with police authority of their respective areas for prompt action in the   evacuation of encroached land if any.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Suleman Choudhary, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Sharma, ACR, Rajeev Magotra, District Informatics Officer (NIC), Anil Sharma, Sub Divisional Magistrates of Chenani, Ramnagar, Dudu & Basantgarh, all Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and Patwaris were present in the meeting.
