REASI, Mar 27: The Motor Vehicle Department Reasi organized free mobile medical camp for vehicle drivers, cleaners and general public today. Bus, taxi, mini buses and heavy vehicle drivers, cleaners as well as passengers were screened at the camps held at various locations of this district.
Doctors screened participants for general health parameters such as sugar and blood pressure levels and also advised the participants for adopting healthy lifestyle for remaining physically and mentally fit.
ARTO Reasi, Rajesh Gupta speaking on the occasion said the main objective of holding the camp was to provide medical facility to drivers and cleaners at their door step. They were also given tips about safe driving and precautions to be adopted while driving.
CMO, Reasi, Dr Parminder Singh said that such medical camps will certainly bring awareness in local drivers about their health and hygiene and will be handy in long run for road safety.
MVD Inspector Vikas Srivats, Officials from MVD Reasi and Health officials were present on the occasion.
