REASI, Mar 28: A 12-year old boy drowned while passing near a water filled trench at Thuroo Pattian near Dharmari while a youth committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances at Tanda, here today.
Reports said that 12-year old Shushal Singh, son of Ram Singh of Thuroo Pattian was drowned when he along with his two friends was passing near a water filled trench, late last night. The deceased and his friends had gone for their participation in a religious Jagran at Dharmari.
Meanwhile, one Rashid Ahmed (34), son of Hussan Mohd, resident of village Tanda of Reasi was brought to District Hospital Reasi in a critical condition after he was found lying unconscious at his house.
Despite hectic efforts by the doctors, he died soon. Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
