RAJOURI, Mar 28: The police seized 80 bags of cement pilferaged from Govt stores and booked two persons in this connection.
Official sources said that a police party from Budhal led by SHO, Parmod Singh, on the basis of some inputs raided two houses and recovered total 80 bags of cement. While 40 bags were recovered from the premises of Mohd Shabir, son of Ali Mohd of Draj Palwar, 40 bags were recovered from the house of one Shabir, son of Muzamal from same area. The police seized the consignment and started investigation. It was established that they had purchased these cement bags from the contractors. The cement was meant for Irrigation and PMGSY works in the area. Further investigation was in progress.
