JAMMU, Mar 28: All J&K Graduate Engineers Association Civil held a meeting under the chairmanship of its State president Er Mujib Tak, today.
The meeting held threadbare discussion on various issues and problems being faced by the Graduate engineers. The core issue which was discussed in the meeting was recent selection list of the JE’s (civil) issued by the JKSSB on the basis of advertised selection criteria.  The members expressed their satisfaction over genuine selection list of JE, Civil. At the same time, Er Tak expressed his grave concern over the unjustified demand of the Diploma Holders who have got the selection list stayed and further trying to gain public sympathies.
The Association has requested to the Government to immediately ensure the joining of newly selected and suffering graduate JE’s so that new recruits may not suffer further more.
Besides other issues viz regularization of Engineering services at all levels, release of running grades in favour of Engineers were discussed in the meeting. The association also appreciated the order of the New Government vide in which re-employment / re-engagement in Government department have been terminated which was also our long pending demand.
Prominent present in the meeting were Er Tariq Hussain, Er Gandeep Pargal, Er Sajad Wani, Er Quayum Malik, Er Gopal Sharma, Er Z A Malik, Er Ayub, Er Mohd Mateen, Er Altab Sheikh and Er Arafat Masood.
