JAMMU, Apr 1: A meeting of All Jammu and Kashmir Electric Department Linemen and Workers’ Union (EDLWU) was held here today wherein the speakers demanded implementation of SRO 59 in letter and spirit.
The meeting, held under the chairmanship of Ashiq Hussain, vice-president of the Union for Jammu Province, appealed the authorities of Power Development Department to implement SRO 59, which has already been implemented in Kashmir Province.
The speakers also appealed the authorities for conducting timely DPC for ensuring promotion to the deserving employees.
Prominent among those present in the meeting were Tara Chand, Girdhari Lal, Vijay Kumar, Surinder Kumar and Paras Ram.
