Relief holders to launch protest, fast unto death

JAMMU, Apr 2: All Kashmiri Migrant Relief holders held a meeting under the chairmanship of Ajay Bhat and accused the Central and State Government for not solving the problems of relief holders.
Relief holders warned both the Governments that if they will not announce the enhancements of relief up to May 15, then they will launch protest and fast unto death.
Ajay Bhat has demanded that relief of Kashmiri relief holders be enhanced from Rs 55 per day per soul to Rs 150 per day soul.
He also demanded that relief holders who had crossed the age limit for Government job should be given class IV grade as per norms of Government of India.
Sunil Pandita, activist of Indian Against Corruption, Jammu appealed to Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed to personally intervene and order CBI inquiry into relief distribution meant for Kashmiri migrants.
Among others present were ML Ganjoo, ON Moti, Rajinder Pandith, Rajesh Raina, Jankar Singh, Sushil Bhat, Sunil Raina, Sunil Pandita, etc.
