KATHUA, Apr 4: A doctor was found absent during surprise visit by the Tehsildar during inspection in various Government offices at Dinga Amb tehsil headquarters.
Official sources said that on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, Tehsildar Dinga Amb, R P Sharma conducted surprise checking in various Government offices at the Tehsil headquarters on Friday. At Primary Health Centre (PHC), he found Dr Ram Dhan, engaged under NRHM, absent from duty. He called the explanation of the doctor and recommended action against him to the DC Kathua and CMO. Tehsildar also paid visit to some other offices and warned staff to ensure maximum presence in the office. He further told the employees that DC was monitoring attendance in the offices on daily basis now.
