He said that our strength lies in party’s cadre and it is their contribution which has enabled the party to take lead over all other political parties and reached at a place where it is now ruling the Centre as well a number of States and thus putting Congress at its lowest ebb.
Ashok Khajuria, while extending greetings of the day, said that the foundation of BJP was laid on April 6, 1980 and since then we have travelled a lot through good and bad experiences. Today we are ruling the country and it is over biggest achievement and the contribution of party activists has been seminal and has taken BJP to such heights. He said that there were days when parties like Congress used to boast that it was the single political party that had the national mandate to run the country but the birth of BJP provided alternate to the people who wanted to get rid of Congress and ensure progress and prosperity of the nation with honesty and no compromise on nation’s integrity and sovereignty and now, Congress is getting wiped out from the country due to its scams and wrong policies.
Ashok Kaul said that it is indeed a matter pride that BJP has become the sole party in the world to have largest number of members and in J&K too we have created history by registering 10 lakh members. Today we have more than one lakh members in Kashmir valley only and it is the indicator of the change in the mindset of people who have seen Congress and other parties.
