JAMMU, Apr 6: Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department today directed the people residing on the bank of river Tawi (area falling under the jurisdiction of PHE City Division No 1) not to install water pump directly over the distributory network.
According to Executive Engineer, PHE City Division No 1, Jammu, a direction has been issued to the people residing on the bank of river Tawi (area falling under the jurisdiction of PHE City Division No 1) not to install water pump directly over the distributory network.
If anybody will be found indulged in the same, a case shall be registered against him besides imposing penalty as per the provisions contained in the J&K Water Resources (Regulation and Management) Act 2010.
