J&K Bank holds literacy camps, concludes trainings in Bandipore

Srinagar, Apr 7: J&K Bank conducted various finanacial literacy and credit counseling camps across Bandipora district in Bonakoot, Gulshan Chowk, Bandipora, Hajin and Sumbal during the last month.
Sopeaking at these camps, Facilitator FLCC Bandipore Abdul Satar Najar educated the participants about the PM’s Jan Dhan Yojna Scheme with all its including insurance, overdraft facility and Debit Rupay Card.
He also discussed at length the bank’s products including various loan schemes and the formalities to be completed including repayment schedules, cost of credit and repayment capacity.
Meanwhile, the bank’s Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Bandipora concluded 11-day Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme, wherein 43 candidates sponsored by DIC and KVIB, Bandipora participated.
State Director (KVIC) V S Bagul was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Lead District Manager Bandipora Reyaz Hassan Baba, Development Officer KVIC A M Zarger, District Coordinator KVIC (Bandipora/Ganderbal) Reyaz Ahmad, Facilitator FLCC Bandipora A S Najar were also present at the valedictory session.
Director RSETI Bandipora Mir Pervaz Ahmad highlighted the achievements of RSETI Bandipora in general and also briefed the house about the quality of training provided to trainees.
During the feedback session with trainees, V S Bagul emphasized the role of RSETIs vis-a-vis schemes of Government of India through KVIC and other departments for establishing income generating units under MSME and playing a pivotal role in eradicating the menace of unemployment from our areas.The guests distributed certificates among the PMEGP trainees.
