RAJOURI, Aug 7: The police seized six bovine animals and arrested three smugglers during a naka near Nowshera early today.
Reports said a police party led by ASP Nowshera Parshotam Sharma during naka on the outskirts of the town intercepted a truck No. JK-11/8273 at around 3.30 am today and found six bovine smugglers being transported illegally.
The police seized the truck along with cattle including three cows and three buffaloes and arrested the alleged smugglers. They were identified as Imran Latief, Mohd Rihas and Mohd Riaz of Thanna Mandi. A case was registered against him.
