MBAC urges Govt to absorb migrant medical aspirants

JAMMU, Aug 7: Mata Bhuvaneshori Asthapan Committee, Chandpora, Harwan, Srinagar in a meeting held here today, urged the Government to take steps with regard to employment of the migrant medical aspirants, which include doctors, dental surgeons and physiotherapists, under Prime Minister’s employment package for Kashmiri migrants.
The Committee said that despite spending huge amounts on their professional trainings, these youth are not being absorbed by the Government, which has left them in the lurch and made them frustrated, adding that their employment can serve a twin purpose of helping them out to not to derail from the main stream as also give an option to the Government to utilize their services in the requisite areas.
The Committee further said that a memorandum has already been sent to the Minister for Relief, Revenue and Rehabilitation, Raman Bhalla and also to MLC Vijay Bakaya.
