KATHUA, Apr 9: The sleuths of Commercial Tax Lakhanpur during a routine checking today have recovered the mobile accessories, batteries, screen etc worth over one lakh from a WagonR car bearing number CH44T 1816 which was on its way from Maholi Punjab to Jammu.
The car has been seized and its driver detained. The Sales Tax Department has imposed a penalty of Rs 71,000 on him and the material will be released only after he pays the penalty.
