JAMMU, Apr 9: To look after the organizational activities, Pradesh Congress Committee president Ghulam Ahmed Mir has assigned responsibilities of different districts to the new office bearers of PCC.
Sham Lal Sharma, senior vice president PCC, shall look after the overall organizational activities besides administration and responsibilities of the party in Jammu Province.
Raman Bhalla, vice president along with general secretaries PCC Manjit Singh, Thakur Manmohan Singh, Vikram Malhotra, Mohammad Shahnawaz Choudhary and Namrata Sharma will look after Jammu Urban, Rural & Samba districts. They will be assisted by secretaries PCC Rajni Bala, Thomas Khokhar, Shashi Sharma, Sobha Singh, Shamsher Singh, Pawan Raina and Dr Sat Pal and organizing secretaries Ashok Sharma, Neeraj Gupta, Sanjeev Sharma, Ashwani Puri and Ashok Dubey.
Mula Ram, vice president PCC, along with general secretaries Shabir Ahmed Khan and Shah Mohd Choudhary will look after Poonch and Rajouri districts. They will be assisted by secretaries and organizing secretaries PCC Gurmeet Singh, Parveen Akhtar and Lovely Gupta.
Sham Lal Sharma, senior vice president PCC and Kanta Bhan- vice president PCC, along with general secretaries Thakur Balwan Singh, Dr Manohar Lal and Faqir Nath will look after Kathua, Udhampur and Reasi districts. They will be assisted by secretaries and organizing secretaries Anuradha Andotra, Pankaj Dogra, Narinder Sharma, Pawan Raina, Nirdosh Sharma, Kulbir Singh Pathania, Manjit Singh Jatt and Vijay Manhas.
G M Saroori, vice president PCC, along with general secretaries Abdul Majid Wani and Yogesh Sawhney will look after Doda and Kishtwar districts. They will be assisted by secretaries and organizing secretaries Ashok Dogra, Imtiyaz Ahmed Khandey and Pawan Singh.
Sham Lal Sharma will also look after Ramban district along with general secretaries PCC Abdul Majid Wani, Yogesh Sawhney and secretary Ashok Dogra.
Ghulam Nabi Monga, vice president and Amreen Bader-vice president, along with general secretaries PCC Nazir Ahmed Khan and Shameem Iqbal, will look after Srinagar, Budgam and Ganderbal districts. They will be assisted by secretaries and organizing secretaries Abid Kashmiri, Irfan Naqeeb, Amit Amla, Ch Kadfeen, Imtiyaz Khan, Sahil Farooq, Jawahira Bano G A Gulzar and Nisar Ahmed Khan.
Mohammad Anwar Bhat-vice president PCC, along with general secretaries PCC Surinder Singh Channi and Hilal Ahmed Shah will look after the Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian & Pulwama districts. They will be assisted by secretaries and organizing secretaries PCC Shaheena Nadaf, Farooq Ahmed Malpuri, Abdul Rashid Lone and Mohammad Ayub Ganie.
Haji Abdul Rashid Dar, vice president PCC, along with general secretaries Usman Majid and Shoaib Nabi Lone will look after Baramulla, Kupwara and Bandipora districts. They will be assisted by secretaries and organizing secretaries PCC Jasbeer Kour, Reyaz Ahmed Khan, Raja Bano, Abdul Hamid Wani and Hamidullah Mir.
Narbu Gialson-vice president PCC, along with general secretary Ghulam Raza will look after Leh and Kargil districts. They will be assisted by organizing secretaries Mohd Yasin Drass, Sonam Namgyal and Zakir Hussian.
Meanwhile, according to PCC chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, it has been decided that the membership drive shall be looked after by the organizational set up at all levels from PCC to the block levels and separate membership committees constituted for the purpose shall stand disbanded. The respective units have been asked to take up the membership work as per party norms, at the earliest, he added.
