JAMMU:
Newly elected Members of Legislative Council were today administered oath in Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council here.
The oath was administered by the acting chairman Jahangir Mir to the MLCs namely Zaffar Manhas, Ashok Khajuria, Vikramditya Singh, Romesh Arora, Saifu-Din Bhat, Ajatshatru Singh, Mohammad Khurshid Alam and Surinder Ambardar.
All the members were nominated by the Governor N N Vohra yesterday. Meanwhile, new Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Council will be elected on April 12. (AGENCIES)
