BSP to take out mega rally on Birth Anniversary of Dr Ambedkar

JAMMU, Apr 11: State unit of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) will take out a mega rally in Jammu on April 14 in connection with Birth Anniversary of Baba Sahib Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar.
This was revealed by State president, BSP, Tarsem Lal Khullar while addressing media persons here today.
Elaborating more, he said that the mega rally will be taken out at 10 am from Brigadier Rajinder Singh Chowk and conclude at Ambedkar Chowk near Rail Head Complex. The rally will pass through Guru Nabha Dass Temple, Guru Valmiki Temple, Kabir Temple, Exchange Road, Parade, Shalamar Road, Indira Chowk, Gumat Chowk, Dogra Chowk and Vikram Chowk.
Throwing light on the achievements of Dr Ambedkar, Khullar said that despite born in a poor family Baba Sahib received higher education with his own efforts. He did a lot to uplift the downtrodden and poor sections of the community and wrote Indian Constitution.
The BSP leader said that every person of the State irrespective of any caste, colour and creed should participate in this mega rally to pay tribute to the great leader.
He said that BSP is the only party in India which is following the footsteps of Baba Sahib.
Other BSP leaders present on the occasion were Somnath Dogra, RL Chalgotra, Ratan Kumar Bhagat, Charan Das, Dilip Gill, Krishen Lal Attri, Deepak Rana, Rakesh Wazir, SN Majotra, Pritam Lal, BD Taryal and Charanjeet.
