BHADARWAH, Apr 11: The Rashtriya Rifles located at Bhadarwah under the aegis of the Counter Insurgency Force (Delta) today organized a lecture to motivate youth to join Army for the local population of Bhadarwah Tehsil.
The initiative was taken on the pretext of large number of queries being asked by the local students and principals of various schools on the course of action of Army.
Wide publicity through TV channels, locals, COBs and All India Radio Station at Bhadarwah was given to ensure that maximum students avail the opportunity of attending the event even from far flung areas.
This event was organized for providing necessary guidance to local youth to join the Army/IMA/NDA. In addition to assistance in filling up the Form, the aim was also to give an insight about the armed forces.
During the event, aspirants were provided guidance on how to prepare for the said examination. To further motivate the aspirants, a movie regarding NDA was also shown to them. The lecture was taken by Second-in-Command of Rashtriya Rifles.
A display of Infantry weapons was also carried out for the youth who were excited to know about the weapon profile. More than 24 students attended the lecture from Bhadarwah and surrounding villages.
