RAMBAN, Apr 11: Dhamkund police recovered a kidnapped minor girl from district Udhampur.
As per police sources, around one month back family members of a girl lodged a complaint with police station Dhamkund that their daughter aged around 15 years has been kidnapped by Bahar Din, son of Abdul Rehman of Gool.
Acting on the complaint, a case under FIR number 4/15 under Section 366 and 109 RPC was registered and investigation started.
On specific information, police team from Dhamkund police station conducted a raid in district Udhampur and recovered the kidnapped girl, whileas the accused managed to escape from the spot.
The girl was restored to family members after completing medical and legal formalities. Manhunt is going on to nab the accused.
Police team led by SHO Dhamkund police station Inspector Arun Kotwal made the arrest under the supervision of SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar.
