JAMMU, Apr 12: Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz, senior Congress leader and former Union Minister, today advised MLA Langate, Engineer Abdul Rasheed, not to cross limits in his statements.
In a statement issued here, Prof Soz said that he has a certain amount of liking for MLA Langate for he sees him among his people but he want to give him a suggestion that he should not cross limits while making statements, as he usually does and his passionate concern on issues gets damaged.
“I strongly differ with him when he asks Kashmiri Pandits to apologize for migration. How could he ask them to do that? Whatever factors constituted KPs migration, who can deny the fact that this minority community had felt extremely scared in abnormal conditions in which the situation of social harmony, peace and the spirit of togetherness had become the first casualty”, said former Union Minister.
He further requested MLA Abdul Rasheed to consider his proposal that one should not look too much to the past and all the stake holders in the society today must look to the future of hope!.
“At this critical juncture of our history, conciliation, reconciliation and mutual understanding is key to the resolution of all problems”, he added.
