Drug peddler nabbed with 110 Corex bottles

POONCH, Apr 12: The police today nabbed a drug peddler and recovered 110 bottles of Corex from his possession at Surankote today.
Official sources said that Surankote police led by SDPO Ajay Sharma and SI Zaheer Manhas, under the supervision of SSP Poonch JS johar  today intercepted a tempo traveller coming from Jammu near Yogi Morh. During checking, the police found huge quantity of  Corex bottles brought from Delhi by  the accused namely, Hakim Hussain Mirza, son of Khadam Hussain Mirza, resident of  Faislabad, Surankote. He was  arrested while the other  accused namely Asif Khan, son of  Yaqoob Khan resident of Marhote slipped away and is  yet to be arrested.
Total 110 bottles of Corex were recovered from his possession. One fake police I-card has also been recovered from  Mirza. These bottles were kept in two bags owned by  Hakim Hussain and Asif  Khan. The bottles had been hidden under the cloths.
During preliminary enquiry, it has come to light that they use to buy bottles at the rate of  Rs 89 from Delhi and sell it here at Rs 400/450 to the students and other youth of the area.  The locals of the area have appreciated the efforts of police.   A case  FIR No. 67/2015,  U/S 8/22 has been registered at Police Station, Surankote in this connection.
