UDHAMPUR, Apr 12: The residents of Udhampur town and adjoining areas held protest demonstration against the district administration for not repairing the Railway Road.
The people irrespective of their political affiliations with different parties, supported by local panchayat members assembled along with sarpanches at Railway Chowk and held protest.
They raised slogans against district administration for not repairing the railway road. Later, they sat on road and disrupted vehicular movement.
The district administration has left this road as unattended and it was not repaired till date, which has resulted into problems to commuters, protestors said.
They demanded immediate repair of the road.
Among others present were Om Parkash, Balwant Singh, Kewal Sharma, Rakesh Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Krishan, Amit Kumar and Naresh Kumar.
