JAMMU, Apr 13: The Minority Cell of PDP held a meeting here today under the chairmanship of S K Raina PDP Trade Union leader discussed various issues of the community especially those being faced by the migrant employees.
The meeting appealed the Government to settle the long pending issues of displaced employees at an earliest. It expressed concern over non disbursement of salaries in various departments to migrant employees and delay in release of cash assistance and ration to migrants.
The meeting was also attended by Nana Ji Raina Ex Sarpanch and PDP leader. It expressed satisfaction over the appointment of Nizam-ud-Din Bhat ex MLA as Party general secretary and Jitender Bhat as its secretary. The meeting said that both leaders being fully aware of migrants problems will take them with concerned authorities for settlement.
