RAMBAN, Apr 13: Police arrested a man along with four bovines from Harog area, falling under the jurisdiction of Dhamkund police station.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Dhamkund police station arrested a person along with four bovines from Harog area.
The accused has been identified as Abdul Hameed, son of Gulab Sheikh of Neel, district Ramban.
To dodge the police, the accused was carrying the bovines towards Valley by foot, but his ill-designs were thwarted by Dhamkund police.
A case under FIR number 5/15 under Section 188 RPC has been registered at police station Dhamkund and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Dhamkund police station Inspector Arun Kotwal made the arrest under the supervision of SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar.
