JAMMU, Apr 14: Director School Education, Simrandeep Singh has ordered suspension of two Masters for obtaining promotion on the basis of fake B.Ed degrees.
According to the order, a complaint was received from one Firdoos Hussain of Doda city and others mentioning that Mohammad Aslam, Master in Government Higher Secondary School, Bharath and Farooq Iqbal, Master in Government Girls High School, Bun Doda had managed their promotions from teacher to master in the year 2003 and 2000 respectively on the basis of fake B.Ed degrees.
Even the Vigilance Organization Jammu had referred this matter to Directorate of School Education for verification and enquiry.
Prima-facie enquiry by Chief Education Officer, Doda revealed that the degrees on the basis of which the promotions were accorded to the masters were indeed fake. Keeping this in view, the Director School Education has ordered suspension of both the Masters with the direction to report to the Directorate immediately.
Further action will be initially accordingly, the order said.
