JAMMU, Apr 15: Divisional Commissioner Jammu Dr. Pawan Kotwal today convened a meeting with Deputy Commissioners of Jammu division and discussed various important issues for their early settlement.
Main issues on which threadbare discussions were held included, collection of user charges at Toll Plaza Rajbag Kathua, Ban Jammu and Thandi Khui Samba, progress of NHAI/PHGSY/BRO & proposed 400 KV Jalandhar-Kathua-Jammu & Jammu Rajouri Power Transmission Line, encroachment on Government land/evacuee land, allotment of land for setting up of RSETI, land acquisition of Kargil Vihar and Rajindera Vihar Colonies, progress of Roshni cases, authentication of land for Press Colony Jammu and demarcation of balance land on the periphery of SKUAST-Jammu at Chatha.
The Divisional Commissioner was also apprised about the progress on proposal for providing land for construction of houses to those families which are to be shifted due to landslides, flash floods and cross border firing.
Underlining the need for early settlement of various issues, the Divisional Commissioner stressed that all agencies involved in different projects should synchronize their working for timely completion. Deliberations were held to clear bottlenecks related to different issues.
Deputy Commissioner Jammu Ajeet Kumar Sahu, Deputy Commissioner Samba Sheetal Nanda, Deputy Commissioner Reasi Sushma Chouhan, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Deepti Uppal, Deputy Commissioner Ramban F. A. Shah, Deputy Commissioner Poonch M. H. Malik, Deputy Commissioner Kathua Shahid Iqbal, Assistant Commissioner (Central) S D Singh, ADDC Udhampur, ADDC Kishtwar, ACR Doda and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
