RAMBAN, Apr 15: A debate competition was organized by District Police Ramban at Higher Secondary School Neel and HSS Ramban, here today
In this competition, 19 students of various Schools participated at HSS Ramban and 12 students of various Schools participated at HSS Neel.
The topics of the competitions were Drug addiction, Road Safety, Human trafficking and National integration.
All the participants shared their vivid views on the topics which were appreciated by the audience.
Afroza Jan, Shaista Qayoom and Masrat Ahmed were adjudged first, second and third resepctively and were presented with a cash reward of Rs 2000, 1500 and 1000 respectively at HSS Ramban. Other three participants were presented with consolation prizes.
In HSS Neel, Mohd Idrees Naik, Rubeena Banu and Muzamil Anayat Wani were adjudged as winner, 1st runner up and 2nd runners- up respectively and were presented with a cash prize of Rs 3000, 2000 and 1000 respectively.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Narinder Singh Parihar, DySP Hqrs Ramban, Imran Malik, DySP Police Component Ramban, Maj Prasant Chand of 12 RR, S S Bandral, Principal HSS Ramban, Inspector Ajay Singh Chib, SHO PS Ramban, Sub-Insp Habib Pathan of PS Ramban, Sr. Lect. Yasin Ahmed of HSS Neel, Lect Shabir Ahmed of HSS Neel, Sr. Lect. Smt Sushma Sharma, HSS Ramban, Shakeel ul Rehman, Sr. Lect HSS Ramban and Master Raj Singh of HSS Ramban.
The jury members were also felicitated on the occasion under the supervision of Randeep Kumar, SSP Ramban and Arun Gupta, Additionl SP Ramban.
