JAMMU, Apr 15: A 27-year old youth was beaten to death by three to four bike-borne youths following an exchange of heated arguments between them after the former’s bike collided with the latter, tonight near Patoli Morh, Old Janipur.
According to SHO police station Janipur, Inspector Ajit Singh, the youth identified as Rakesh Kumar son of Kalu Ram , a resident of Old Janipur near Patoli park, was going on his bike along with his brother when it (bike) collided with another bike bearing registration JK02R-4596.
Following the collision of vehicles, the occupants of the other bike (three to four youths) thrashed Rakesh Kumar severely resulting into intensive bleeding from nose and ears of the victim. In serious condition, he was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for post mortem and other legal formalities.
A case of murder has been registered against the unidentified youths at police station Janipur and further investigations started.
