KATHUA, Apr 18: Four people were injured three of them seriously when a maruti car bearing number DL8C Z 8652 hit a matador bearing number JK08C 0644 at Chaper More near Hiranagar on Jammu-Pathankote National Highway today.
The matador was on its way to Jammu while the car was on way from Delhi to Jammu. While reaching Chaper More the car hit the matador resulting in injuries to four persons. They have been identified as Anil Kumar and Ashok Kumar who were traveling in the car and Naresh Kumari wife of Kuldeep Singh and Megha Sharma. While Anil Kumar, Ashok Kumar and Naresh Kumari were shifted to GMC Jammu for treatment as they have received grievous injuries, Megha Sharma was admitted in SDH Hiranagar.
The driver of matador fled from the spot after the accident. Hiranagar Police has registered a case under relevant Sections of the law and seized both the vehicles.
