JAMMU, Apr 18: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Armed, J&K, SM Sahai today ordered promotions of 128 Selection grade constables (Sgct) to the rank of Head Constables and 179 constables to the rank of Sgcts.
In his message to promotees, ADGP extended warm greetings to the officials and their families. He expressed the hope that they will continue to work with more devotion and dedication in future.
Sahai said that main job of Armed Police is to maintain law and order in the State and all the police personnel shall remain highly vigilant and observe standard operation procedures in discharge of routine as well as sensitive assignments. “All ranks of Police shall exhibit professionalism and observe restrain in dealing with agitations and sensitive situations”, he added.
