Sonalika appoints BVR Subbu as Independent Director

NEW DELHI, Apr 20:  Tractor maker Sonalika today announced appointment of former Hyundai Motor India President BVR Subbu as an Independent Director on its board.
An automobile industry veteran, Subbu has over three decades of experience in various organisations, including Tata Motors.
Commenting on the appointment, Sonalika group Vice Chairman A S Mittal said: “Subbu’s experience and wealth of knowledge will be a great asset to our business and our pursuit of excellence and prosperity for all.”
He has also served on the Boards of L&T (MIPD), Proton Holdings Berhad, Malaysia, and Lotus Cars Ltd, UK.
He is also a member of the Board of Directors of KPIT Technologies Ltd, Pune and Member, Asia Advisory Board, Pinnacle Engines Inc, USA.
Subbu joined the Tata Administrative Service in 1977, and held variety of line responsibilities at Tata Motors. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University and Diploma in International Trade from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi. (PTI)
