JAMMU, Apr 15: Vijay Lochan was today elected as president of Shri Guru Ravi Dass Sabha.
The election was held in Guru Ravi Dass Sabha premises at Krishna Nagar.
Official sources said the election was conducted in the presence of Magistrate and police on court orders. District Magistrate, Jammu, Sanjeev Verma, supervised the election.
There had been dispute over the Sabha election between two parties.
When contacted, Mr Verma said the election was conducted on court orders. A Magistrate had been deployed for the election, which passed off peacefully in police presence.
