JAMMU, Apr 21: A man today made an abortive attempt on his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence at Bishnah.
According to a police spokesperson, the man identified as Chetan Singh (47) son of DK Singh, a resident of Bishnah, allegedly consumed some poisonous substance following which he was shifted to a Government Hospital in Bishnah by the family members.
However, in view of her detriorating condition, the doctors referred him to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
