JAMMU, Apr 22: On the initiative of the president Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Trade Union Suresh Sharma, a joint delegation of SGEJAC led by senior leaders Sushil Sudan, Subhash Verma had a meeting with Finance Minister Dr Haseeb Drabu in his office chamber here today.
The delegation projected the demands like regularization of daily wagers, contractual and ad hoc employees, dislocation allowance as incentive to all employees, mechanism for regular salary to FMPHWs and SHTO staff, release of their pending salaries, removal of pay anomalies in all cadre, re-organisation of Jammu Municipal Corporation, merger of State Forest Corporation with Forest Department and review of newly recruitment policy on contractual basis.
The Minister gave patient hearing to the delegation and said that Government was serious about the problems and will take necessary steps in this regard.
