REASI, Apr 24: Reasi police today raided a house at Village Jerri and seized 10 litres of liquor besides material for preparation of desi liquor.
According to the reports, acting on a tip off a police party along with DSB personnel headed by SHO police station Reasi raided a house at village Jerri on the basis of reliable information and recovered 200 litres of Lahan, 10 litres of illicit liquor and material for preparation of desi liquor.
Police seized all the recovered material and arrested one of the accused identified as a lady namely Sansar Kour wife of Dayal Singh while the other accused namely Rajeb Singh son of Dayal Singh is absconding and his search is going on.
In this connection, a case FIR No 57/2015 U/S 48-(a) (b) (e) Excise Act stands registered at police station Reasi. Further investigation of the case is in progress.
