JAMMU, Apr 25: High Court today directed the Additional Deputy Commissioner having powers of Collector land acquisition to appear in person on April 28 to give reasons and show what are the legal impediments in handing over possession of land measuring 1150 marlas to the Ex-servicemen League.
Advocate Aditya Sharma appearing for the petitioner submitted that amount with respect to the land had already been deposited with the respondent and even award had attained finality in the year 2012. Despite many representations, the respondent is not making the entry of petitioner in revenue record.
After hearing the Advocate Aditya Sharma, Justice Bansi Lal Bhat directed the Additional Deputy Commissioner to appear in person on April 28 and explain the legal impediments which are restraining the respondent from doing it.
