I&FC daily wagers protest, demand pending salary

UDHAMPUR, Apr 25: Today the members of Workers Welfare Association Irrigation & Flood Control, protested against the non payment of their due salaries.
A number of employees, including supervisors and daily wagers, assembled near the I&FC office and held a protest demonstration there. They raised slogans for release of their salaries and in support of other demands, such as maintenance of daily register of daily wagers, etc.
While speaking on the occasion, members of WWAIFC rued that their families were suffering because of no release of salary.
The secretary of Association, Pawan Kumar said , ”Our president has referred all our demands to the Commissioner Secretary and the  Minister, who need to look into the matter  so that employees are not forced to take to streets.”
Vivek, Ramesh Singh, Ramesh Kumar, Pawan and others also addressed the protest demonstration.
