JAMMU, Apr 25: Presiding Officer Fast Track Court Y P Kotwal has rejected the bail application of Prem Singh, son of a politician Suram Singh, who was allegedly involved in rape with a girl.
After hearing Advocate S K Shukla with Advocate Varun Raina appearing for the applicant whereas APP GS Charak appearing for the State, Presiding Officer Fast Track Court observed, “the charges are yet to be framed and witnesses are yet to be recorded”, adding “if the accused is admitted to bail, there is every possibility of his jumping over the bail”.
With these observations, court rejected the bail application.
