Charge separatists with sedition: Khosa

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Apr 30: President Kashmiri Pandit Sabha (KPS) K K Khosa today said that the latest statement by the Pakistan establishment regarding the resettlement of Kashmiri Pandits back in the Valley proves beyond all doubt that the separatists, militants, killers of minorities and fundamentalist elements in the Valley who had gone to town on this particular issue are in close contact and league with this enemy State.
Khosa in a statement issued here said the longer the Indian State takes in arresting these elements and proceeding against them for waging war against the nation the more emboldened will they become and also expose the Government of India to the charge of being weak and ineffective. The time has come when the Government should take tough measures so that the question of return and rehabilitation of the Pandits becomes possible in the near future, he added.
Even the so called mainstream politician like Engineer Rashid M L A Langate who always behaves as an over ground supporter of terrorists and separatists needs to be reined in and charged with sedition since he has taken oath under the Constitution of India which he abuses repeatedly and with impunity. The Government should not be scared of any kind of reaction in the Valley if such actions are taken because there exists a large constituency of hard core nationalists living in the Valley which feels let down due to lack of action by the Government against such avowed anti national elements. Both the Government of India as well as the State Government is duty bound to encourage and support each and every Nationalist in the Valley by going all out against the terror mongers so that a conducive environment can be created in the Valley for restoration of rule of law which is imperative before any kind of return and resettlement of the Pandits can be a viable proposition. Restoration of a pluralistic society in the Valley which is the land of our forefathers should be accorded highest priority by the ruling elite of the Nation.
He said with Pakistan commenting on India’s internal affairs, a befitting reply by the Government of India is very important to safeguard its prestige and authority.
