Ambardar attacks Pak for statement on composite township in Valley

JAMMU, May 1: BJP MLC Surinder Ambardar today said that Pakistan needs to be reminded of Section V of the United Nations guiding principles on internal displacement which clearly states that all internally displaced people have got every right to return, resettle and reintegrate in their own land with safety and dignity.
He was reacting to a statement made by Pakistan foreign office which says that composite township in Kashmir Valley in order to settle Kashmiri Pandits is violation of UN Security Council resolution.
Ambardar further added that Pakistan was instrumental in demographical divide of Kashmir by forcing religious minorities of Pandits into exile and thus changing the Sufi rishi fabric of Kashmir.
He further added that Pakistan first needs to put its own house in order and need to explain why leaders of Muzaffarabad (PoK ) were forced to live in exile and also needs to tell the world at large why Pashtuns and Baluchis were resettled in Gilgit in Pakistan.
Ambardar said that by releasing such statements Pakistan’s frustration has come to fore as the huge turnout in the recently concluded Assembly elections has decimated their wishes and fancies.
BJP MLC observed that the mood of the Valley is such that the majority community is ready to welcome its Pandit brethren and this has irritated Pakistan and that is the reason they are venting out their irritation in this manner.
