The Menace of Drugs

I asked a wise man the reasons for growing menace of the drugs.
He looked at me with strange eyes while dusting his house rugs.
A weak man who was doing so much, to bye peace in the house,
Looking around in frightful way, he meekly answered like a mouse.
‘Women, only the women, who have all stopped doing their duties,
They waste hard earned money and time in shaping their beauties’.
Wise man was so tense as he was ordered, to daily set all the house,
Cook food and wash the clothes and generally behave like a mouse.
Woman was, the real lord of house, as she would give all commands
What to do and what not to do, was her the last word that demands
When Children come and children go, only mother’s orders prevailed
Whenever the father tried to intervene, was badly snubbed, he failed
When interest of family were divided and no sane values could persist
What that the poor man could do and to what limits could ever insist
When all the discipline goes topsy turvy and home is turned into a hotel
No one is answerable and none is there to command just like a motel
Who brings the drugs, who takes the drugs none is there to perceive
A free entry of poison in the house which no person could conceive .

Love You, Mom

Salute to you ,
For bearing the pain.
Salute to you,
For supporting me again and again.
You know when I sit beside you,
I do nothing but looking at you.
Wrinkles on your skin, your pale face,
Make me realise what you have sacrificed for my sake.
You know when I walk with you,
I do nothing but looking at you .
Pain in your knees, tremble in your walk,
Make me realise how far you have travelled for unlocking
the happiness lock.
You know when I sleep with you,
I do nothing but looking at you.
Your deep smile, tiring voice, pampering,
Make me realise how much you struggled whole day to
Make family running .
Love you, Mom
Because I’ve never been able to say it .
Love you, Mom
Because you deserve it …….

we are Strange People

“We are strange people”
We do something first, and then regret,
We hurt someone and say sorry,
We love someone and don’t tell them,
We are diplomatic,
We are good to those only, who are good to us,
Still we claim to be best,
While actually we are not.
We hate others for their small mistakes,
But we love out self despite of committing blunders,
We loose everything for one person,
But we cannot loose one thing for one hundred persons,
We love but we cannot get what we love,
And
We don’t love what we get
This is how we live,
Strange
But
True.
